D              Tom Lion Harvest 01/25/10

D              This is a photo fo my old blue Ryan dog baying up a 15 3/16" tom lion; my LionHeart and Ike dogs were also on the catch. I was hunting a friend and his daughter who was seventeen at the time and a senior in High School, and she took this cat. I'll bet the local boys at school were sure jealous of that tom she killed with all the dog boxes in the parking lot.

D              Ol' Brutus was treed by my blue Ryan dog, Ike and Rowen on a catch and release day with a good friend. We'd cut about eight dogs loose off the rig and had most of the younger dogs go tree a young bear. My three older dogs struck a cold trail on the way in and didn't get this bear jumped until early afternoon. Brutus is one of the two largest black bears I've sever seen in the tree, and had a front pad that measured over 5 3/4" across.

A world Class bear I took and have written about in my Bear Story. Dogs on the catch were Ryan, LionHeart, Rowen, Ike and Smoke.

Another really nice boar put up by Ryan, Ike, Choco, Kody and Maverick.
 

Ol' Scarface was started after the sleet had covered the track with nine dogs and was put up by only three, Ryan, Rowen and my LionHeart dogs.

The hide on this boar was as pretty as I have ever seen, and was caught by Rowen, Choco, Kody and Griz and released.
